The month of December in Imperium Pub
Imperium Club closes the 2007 season of the Imperium Nights program with a series of winter concerts which will highlight the magic of the month of December and will bring in front of the inhabitants of Sibiu other two big names of the Romanian and international musical stage.
Thus, Vali Răcilă, also known as â€śSir Bluesâ€ť, accompanied by the Imperium Band will be sustaining a concert within a blues night on December 6th.
The second surprise offered by the Imperium Pub is Harry Tavitian, who, together with battery player Cserey Csaba, will be sustaining an evening of jazz Christmas songs.
On December 21st, the guest of the house will be saxophonist Lucian Nagy, a young talent whom the locals in Sibiu already had the chance to listen within the Jazz Marathon organized by Imperium and Nicolas Simion. He will be offering an evening of jazz of the highest quality, together with soloist Maria Chioran.
Imperium Nights is a project initiated by the Imperium club on the occasion of the Sibiu European Capital of Culture 2007 Program, and which succeeded in bringing in front of the public performances such as the stand-up comedy season with Radu Gheorghe, Doru Apreotesei and Misu Farcas, Marius Popp and Christel Ungar, Ozana Barabancea, Nicolas Simion - Jazz Marathon, Ovidiu Lipan Tandarica, Marius Mihalache and Crina Matei. Also, the project promoted other newer talents, such as Headliner- award winners at the Sibiu Jazz Fest 2007; The Night Train, Bob Bales or Nagy Lucian.
